If an earth quake hit Auckland three times, would you move to another province or town?
If an earth quake hit Auckland I would not move to another place because this is my home town. I grew up here, a lot of people grew up here and they probably would not move either.
There are also some people that don’t have the money to move or have any family members that live somewhere else so they don’t have much of a choice but to stay in Auckland. Even if my house got crushed I still wouldn’t not move not even in a million years would I move to another place.
What a great piece of writing Sharon. Very topical. I am reading lots of stories in the paper from Christchurch residents who just want to leave because they have had enough of being frightened, in danger, and always cleaning up the mess. It is hard to imagine how that would effect you if it was happening to your house and family.
